Film equipment sucks
My 8 inch camera monitor conked out last shoot brought it home and yes this parrot is dead. I have a 10 inch SmallHD but it is a prototype model and it shows. I am really annoyed by this much more than when stuff normally breaks. Camera monitors are such a racket, 1100 bucks for a 8 inch LCD monitor? I could get two 42inch plasma TVs for that. I can understand paying 3-4K for a 20 incher that has tons of options but to be honest almost all of the 7-9 inch monitors have shit for bonus features, save a peaking function.
